Hardie board siding is a product made from a combination of cement, sand, and cellulose fibers providing a protective and unique exterior material. Fiber cement siding unlike vinyl is hail-damage resistant and non-combustible. It is also water resistant protecting against swelling, buckling, or cracking if installed by a professional contractor. Multiple coats of color are baked onto the board using Color Plus® Technology providing greater resistance to chipping, cracking, and fading, and requires less maintenance than other exterior products. Product warranties are 15 to 30 years and may also reduce insurance premiums for homeowners.
